In this sequel to Ringu (1998), Mai Takano is finding to seek more about the death of her dearfriend, Ryuji. Then She hears stories about a video hunted by the spiritual of a girl named Sadako, who died some years ago. Supposedly, someone seeing the video will die of fright trully 1 week later. After some investigating, she knows that Ryuji's son, Yoichi, is rising the same psychic teenages that Sadako had when she was alive. Mai must now meet some way to keep Yoichi and herself from becoming Sadako's next victims.
